    You have to have a Mechanical license for your state.

    I would also add that you should obtain a certification by the following association of air duct cleaners. Here’s the link:
    They offer training, info and insight on what is required in your State. Make sure you market your services to Insurance adjustors and companies as they often need ducts cleaned after fires, floods, etc.
