my dad was in a simular situation and he didnt know what to do. he was always on this website it helped him alot.
you just assume a business name through a application available through utah’s department of commerce.
But the best question is what type of partnership structure you want with your friends. llp ,llc sp with silents, etc.
also some businesses need special licensing and/or bonds so check utah’s commerce site.
Go to city hall, fill out a form and pay about $100.
